About me
About Maria Yuquilima
I grew up in Indiana, shaped by the values of hard work, community, and service. My family’s military background instilled discipline and responsibility, while my professional path has been dedicated to immigrant justice, law, and bilingual communications.
Through my work with immigrant families, I’ve seen firsthand how complex systems can leave people unheard. That experience drives my belief that government must be accessible, transparent, and accountable. I’ve worked to ensure voices are amplified, rights are protected, and communities are empowered.
- My priorities reflect the needs of District 90:
- Quality Schools that prepare every child for success.
- Economic Justice through good jobs, strong small businesses, and smart infrastructure.
- Public Safety built on accountability and trust.
- Healthcare Access that is affordable and compassionate.
- Community Engagement that ensures every voice is valued.
This campaign is about more than politics — it’s about building bridges, listening to neighbors, and creating solutions rooted in shared values. I believe in practical problem‑solving, responsible leadership, and opportunities that help families thrive.
I invite you to join me in this movement. Whether by volunteering, donating, or sharing your story, your voice matters. Together, we can bring Real Work. Real Change. to Indiana.
